Attending a fuel station in a Halloween costume: check. Searching an old toilet for our location scouting – wtf?!: check. Eating fries in an abandoned garage of a former GDR railway station: check. Scare the rest of the team? Double check.

The thing with the toilet – how did that thing get there? – and the location scouting wouldn’t have been possible if plan A would have worked. The building in which we originally wanted to shoot became the canvas for some graffiti sprayer. So we needed to improvise and found the toilette in an abandoned house – on the stairway. And: this gorgeous, old railway station.

Im September im Halloween-Outfit zur Tankstelle: check. Beim Locationscouting eine alte Toilette finden – wtf?!: check. Pommes in der verlassenen Werkstatt eines ehemaligen DDR-Bahnhofs essen: check. Den Rest des Teams erschrecken? Sowas von check.

Die Sache mit der Toilette – wie kam die da bitte hin? – und dem Locationscouting wäre gar nicht nötig gewesen, wenn Plan A funktioniert hätte. Das Gebäude, in das wir eigentlich wollten, weil es unfassbar schöne Flügeltüren hatte, fanden leider auch ein paar Sprayer schön. Weil wir keine obszönen Messages auf unseren Fotos wollten, haben wir dann einfach improvisiert. Und die Toilette in einem vollkommen ruinierten Haus gefunden – aber im Treppenaufgang. Und: diesen fabelhaften verlassenen Bahnhof.
